Ace minimalist singer-songwriter Scout Niblett is currently hard at work on a new album, due early next year; before then, though, she’s released an EP, ‘No More Nasty Scrubs’ (artwork above), out now via Drag City, featuring her takes on TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’ and Janet Jackson’s ‘Nasty’ – have a watch of her video of the latter below:
Speaking about the background of the song, Niblett says: "The song ‘Nasty’ was recorded by myself just using my computer back in January. It was in response to a request from my friend Jan Lankisch, who is putting together a Janet Jackson tribute album – it will be coming out on the tribute album early next year."
