Trembling Bells are back and gearing up to release a brand new seven-track mini-album via Tin Angel. Ahead of its release, you can watch a video preview for the mini-album above.
The video, directed by Tom Chick, intersperses shots of the band playing live with a surrealist narrative featuring the various members of Trembling Bells. The mini-album, entitled Wide Majestic aire, is intended as a companion piece to their last album, Sovereign Self. Of the title track, the band’s Alex Neilson says "’Wide Majestic Aire’ is among my favourite songs that I’ve written." 2016 is also set to be a busy year for Trembling Bells with plans to release a live album capturing their shows with Will Oldham as well as the release of an exclusive single for Record Store Day. You can pre-order the new record here. A short UK tour is set to run in April.
