TÃLÃ is currently gearing up to release her new MALIKA project, a self-produced, six track EP which features collaborations with Banks, MssingNo and mahraganat pioneer Sadat & Alaa Fifty who both feature on the above track, ‘Enta Ayez (You Wish)’ – that’s the video premiering above.
‘Enta Ayez (You Wish)’ is the third track to be revealed from TÃLÃ’s MALIKA project which is due out on October 21, via Columbia. The video itself features a number of scenery shots of Egypt including the collaborators, both of whom are involved in the Egyptian sound that combines rap and the country’s traditional street music. Speaking about the release, she said: “I love to collaborate; orchestrating MALIKA took me around the world working with some amazing producers, rappers, singers and instrumentalists from Turkey, Egypt, Korea and the US as well as the UK.” You can listen to the track below too.
