WATCH: New Novelist

Novelist blesses the people with 'Dot Dot Dot', the first set of visuals from his debut album 'Novelist Guy'

Following the release of his album Novelist Guy back in April, Novelist has shared ‘Dot Dot Dot’, the first video from his debut project. You can watch the Danebuca-directed video above.

Since he released his tape earlier this year, Novelist has been spreading his music on the festival circuit, at events like Lovebox, where he sent the crowd into a frenzy with ‘Dot Dot Dot’, at that point just an album track.

Produced by Novelist, the eerie keyboard synths set the tone for the track and are backed by a head nodding snare and kick, coupled with a snappy hi-hat. The instrumental is reminiscent of Dizzee Rascal’s early grime beats and over it he chants "Thinking, thinking dot dot dot, God’s at my door like knock knock knock" as a mantra for his mind state.
