WATCH: New John Grant Video

John Grant shares topically biting video for latest single; watch it below

John Grant has unveiled the video for his latest single, ‘Global Warming’, and you can watch it above right now.

The video tells the story of the last man on earth taking a particularly topical note, with direction from Casey Raymond who was also responsible for Grant’s ‘Marz’ and ‘Chicken Bones’ videos.

"This is the 3rd video we’ve made with JG, the first two dating way way back to his first album," says Raymond. "It involves a day in the life of John as the last man on earth, just trying to find stuff to do to occupy his remaining time, which largely involves personal grooming, and watching visions of the past on portable DVD players.

"John is always a pleasure to work with, and although he wasn’t paraded around the streets of Cardiff in yellow lycra, like on previous occasions, he still had to undergo several gruelling hours of aging prosthetic in order to revive Winona Ryder’s role at the end of Edward Scissorhands.”

The track features on his 2015 album Grey Tickles, Black Pressure.
