Ahead of their slot at tQ’s stage at this years Great Escape Festival later this month, Bahraini psych-dance titans Flamingods have revealed the video for their new track ‘Mixed Blessings’.
The clip, premiering exclusively with tQ above, is cut from the band’s forthcoming EP Kewali, which is to be released via Moshi Moshi on 26 May.
The video comes courtesy of Alpaca animations, who provide appropriately kaleidoscopic visuals, which lurch from whacked-out bliss to psychedelic terror and back again.
Flamingods play The Quietus’ stage at The Great Escape at The Haunt in Brighton on Thursday 18 May. They’ll be joined by Starcrawler, Ill and Shame, and a headline slot courtesy of the mighty Moonlandingz.
