Elias Krantz has released a music video to accompany upcoming album Lifelines. An extract from the second track ‘On Time’ premieres above, set to scanned super 8 footage of a ’70s skiing competition put together by Shida Shahabi.
Comprised of two continuous tracks that form side A and B of the record, Lifelines has been shaped by Japanese electronic music and American minimalism, as well as krautrock, jazz and electronica. Krantz uses sounds from analog synthesisers, tape recorders and an early Italian tape echo, incorporating them into ambient soundscapes that form a cohesive whole.
Lifelines is set to be released on Control Freak Kitten Records on August 12.
