With the release of their new single, ‘The Woods’, imminent, Drenge have shared the video for the track which is premiering above,
Taken from the duo’s second album, Undertow, which was released earlier this year, the single is out this Friday. The video itself was shot on location in the austere setting of the cement factory in the brothers’ home of Hope, Derbyshire, seeing them return to the factory that casts a considerable shadow over the area and over the duo’s childhood. "The cement factory is visible from miles around and its own train line ran past our old house, shaking the walls every couple of hours,” says the band’s Eoin. "The Woods is a song about a walk I made with my dad, it’s about religion and what happens to our bodies after we die. It’s also about being introduced to music whilst driving around the moors late at night.”
