Big Noble, the collaboration of Interpol guitarist Daniel Kessler and sound designer Joseph Fraioli, released their debut album, First Light, earlier this month, via their own Affiliates Sound imprint, and following its release, the pair have now issued a video for album cut ‘Atlantic Din’, which you can treat yourself to above.
The video traces the album’s roots around New York City, with director Ben Hughes describing it as "an elliptical tale of madness, wanderlust, saints and ghosts, shot in New York City, Buffalo and the Mayan Riviera". Speaking on the intentions of Big Noble and the album at large, Fraioli said it was "immersive and perspective-changing", adding that "a lot of the arrangements feel technically vast, but there’s an intimacy that I hope listeners will find addictive to escape within". First Light is out now.
