Greek/British electro-pop duo Lola’s Bad are launching their debut single ‘Drown With Me’ at Power Lunches in Dalston tonight. It’s out now via their own label (buy it here), and you can have a watch of the video below:
The duo are performance artist and singer, and director of the above video, Evangelia C and multi-instrumentalist Bat Halliday. Their Facebook profile describes them as a "large measure of a Mediterranean island heatwave shaken over the gothic hills of south-west England" and, in-keeping with this penchant for the geo-musical, they’ve got a knack of performing in unusual spots, having previously incorporated caves and burlesque clubs into their touring venues.
Moving back into the less elemental surroundings of Power Lunches, they’ll be supported by DJs Hermes & Louis and Inept Pernicious tonight; for more details, head here.
