WATCH: Jarvis Cocker Goes Back To School

Listen to his first song...

Jarvis Cocker’s new book of lyrics Mother, Brother, Lover is out now, and to commemorate where it all began, Faber have made a short film where Cocker returns to the school he went to in the 1970s, and where Pulp played their first gig. Cocker plays a version of his first song about ‘Shakespeare’, a version of ‘Babies’ and returns to the School library some books he nicked (or forgot to return) and tells the pupils to look around them in the streets of Sheffield to find things that really are inspirational.
