Next week sees the release of a new album from Grumbling Fur via Thrill Jockey, and above you can check out a new trailer to whet your appetite ahead of its release.
Furfour was made by the pair over the course of three years spent between the writing and recording process. "Songs are about including the process in the finished piece and spontaneous ideas are laid down,and a structure starts to emerge from this source,” they say of the album, adding: “first thought best thought is our motto.” The album features additional contributions from This Heat’s Charles Bullen and Isobel Sollenberger from Bardo Pond, both of whom they describe as "kindred spirits, open souls and players we respect". The album is available to purchase from September 16.
