Warp Records-signed Nick Talbot, aka Gravenhurst, releases his latest album The Ghost In Daylight through the label next week. In advance of its release he’s made the video for album track ‘The Prize’ available for your viewing pleasure – watch it above. Directed by Jenny Coan – the International Film Archive Librarian of the Year, who has worked with the likes of Adam Curtis, the V&A and Damien Hirst – its footage was found and pieced together by delving deep into her archive.
He’s also announced his largest UK headline show to date, which will take place at London’s Cecil Sharp House on 26th September. It will feature his new Gravenhurst Ensemble, with him playing alongside Rachel Lancaster (vocals/bass/keyboards) and Claire Adams (percussion/vocals). You can nab tickets for that show here.
