WATCH: Gary Numan I Am Dust Video

The Nume returns with new vid from Splinter album

To celebrate the announcement of a main stage slot at this year’s Sonisphere festival, ‘Godfather of Electro’ Gary Numan has issued a brand new video for ‘I Am Dust’.

It is a lusty, grinding cut taken from Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind), one of tQ’s top albums of 2013.

Though the clip looks like lost Super 8 surveillance footage of a kidnap from the 80s, it was created using state-of-the-art technology: a Tachyons+ video glitch synth effected live via HI-8 camera and a CRT television captured by a modern digital camera. It can be seen below.

2014 will see Numan’s world-beating resurgence continue apace, it being the 35th anniversary of the release of The Pleasure Principle.
