Red Bull Music Academy have just released a short film about ‘Layer 3’, Flying Lotus’s current stage show in support of recent album Until The Quiet Comes.
It involves him standing in the middle of three screens, onto which 2001-inspired, 3D imagery is projected. It’s been dreamt up by FlyLo and the visual artists Strangeloop and Timeboy, all of whom talk us through the idea in the film – have a watch below:
