WATCH: Fat White Family At Dot To Dot

Fat Whites play 'I Am Mark E Smith' at Dot To Dot; watch below. Footage captured by Fred Perry Subculture

Taking place a few weeks ago simultaneously in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham, Dot To Dot Festival presented a line-up that included PINS, Hinds and Fat White Family. A number of sets were recorded at the festival and, above, you can watch a video recording of Fat Whites playing ‘I Am Mark E Smith’.

The recording captures Fat Whites on typically storming form, with frontman Lias Saudi, tinny in hand, leering out over the crowd. The track itself is taken from a self-released 10” issued late last year, giving Saudi the chance to channel the spirit of the great The Fall frontman. The video, as is the case with all footage recorded at Dot To Dot, was captured by Fred Perry Subculture. Head here to check some more highlights from this year’s Dot To Dot. You can see Fat White Family tonight at Brixton Electric for Brixton Buzz, a fundraiser for those in the area, where they’ll play alongside Alabama 3. You can grab tickets here.
