WATCH: Bed Rugs – Yawn

Belgian psychedelic group release video for upcoming single

Antwerp psych-rockers Bed Rugs have just released a video for the single ‘Yawn’, taken from forthcoming LP Rapids, to be released via Ample Play on May 13. Ahead of that, the single will also be released as a double A-side with ‘Blinds’, on May 6.

The song, a mind-altering experience (an accessible one, mind), is accompanied by a clip that follows its protagonist along a strange journey into the unknown. Band member Noah Melis, along with Anne Reijniers, are the video’s directors, and have this to say: "The video is mostly inspired by the place where we shot it, which is a magnificent river that flows through the French part of Belgium."

"The idea was to create a dreamlike situation, the kind where you don’t quite know how you got there in the first place. And everyone in the band plays a weird character which is somewhat based on themselves."
