WATCH: Årabrot Tall Man Video

Årabrot have released a video for ‘Tall Man’, a track from their blazing new album The Gospel; it was directed by Morten Traavik, who organised Laibach’s performances in North Korea last year.

Traavik is quite the renaissance man in his home country. And by that we don’t mean he was born in the 15th Century but that he has worked in TV, on film documentaries, for the Norwegian government, he has written plays, magazine articles, he runs a blog, is an academic and an international speaker.

However he is perhaps best known for conducting the North Korean Accordion Orchestra as they played a medley of a-Ha hits. The YouTube footage of this concert has had 2.5m hits.

And now he shoots videos for noise rock bands in Riga of course.

The Gospel is one of tQ’s favourite LPs of the year so far and the band arrive on these shores later this month. tQ’s John and Luke will be DJing at the Corsica show.
