Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb has collaborated with Robi Insinna, AKA Headman, on a new project called SASM.
Their first release, on the Industria label, features two original tracks exploring McCarthy and Insinna’s mutual love of taut electronic funk, in addition to a couple of solo tracks from Insinna. It comes with a choppy remix of the track ‘Democracy’ by long-time tQ favourite Nik Void, which you can listen to just below. We’re promised more from SASM later this year.
