The current run of new music from The Hidden Cameras is proving to be one of 2025’s most exciting musical returns. First, there was the fantastic Pet Shop Boys reworking of ‘How Do You Love?’ that made our Music of the Month for April, now Joel Gibb has teamed up with yet another synth pop legend to rework the latest new tune. Yep, none other than Vince Clarke is on the remixing duties for ‘Undertow’, sprinkling all sorts of classic Vince magic all over it – there’s even strong hints of early Depeche Mode and ‘Can’t Get Enough’ in this. You can listen to the track here. About the untimely end of a love affair and inspired by Patrick Cowley’s ‘Sea Hunt’, the track also comes remixed by Local Suicide and Sasse, and is taken from forthcoming Hidden Cameras album BRONTO, which can be pre-ordered and so on here, forthcoming tour dates can be accessed here.
