UUUU, the group made up of Wire’s founder and bassist Edvard Graham Lewis and guitarist Matt Simms as well as former Coil member Thighpaulsandra and Vanishing Twin’s drummer Valentina Magaletti, are heading out on tour in Europe this weekend, and ahead of that they’ve shared a new video for ‘Boots With Wings’.
The track originally featured on their self-titled debut album which was released last year via Editions Mego. The video meanwhile centres around distorted visuals of a cast of characters wrestling – it was put together by Antonio Curcetti who also took photos for the band’s album artwork and specialises in unusual processing of analogue film.
UUUU are currently in the process of producing a new 12", set for release by Editions Mego later this year. You can keep up with their current movements, and their recently launched merchandise, via their website here.
