Unsound has shared the first wave of acts playing its 2023 edition this October.
The festival will once again take place across multiple locations in Kraków, with a series of one-off exclusive performances and world premieres dotted across the billing. Autechre will play live, while Lee Gamble will link up with Spanish action artist Candela Capitán and lighting designer Jacqueline Sobiszewski to present a special show based around AI and body movement.
There are also confirmed live appearances from US experimental band Negativland; Japanese free improv collective Marginal Consort; SVBKVLT affiliate 33EMYBW with visual artist Joey Holder; Ana Roxanne and DJ Python, playing together as Natural Wonder Beauty Concept; Lonnie Holley; Mabe Fratti; Julia Reidy; Iceboy Violet; Ale Hop and Laura Robles; and Elvin Brandhi with drummer Lukas Koenig and artist Peter Kutin, linking up as PLF.
The initial lineup announcement is rounded out by DJ sets from ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, DJ Babatr, 3Phaz, Nikki Nair and Ojoo Gyal. SHERELLE and VTSS are also set to play back-to-back for the first time. More acts will be added to the bill in the coming months.
