Unreleased James Stinson Material Set For Release

The material has been recovered from long-lost DATs by the late Drexciya member

A new record featuring material recorded by the late James Stinson, otherwise known as The Other People Place and one half of Drexciya, will see release this June via Dutch label Clone’s Aqualung Series. You can hear previews of the record above.

The record is made up of six previously unreleased and unheard tracks recovered from DATs belonging to Stinson and recorded in the wake of his previous two releases as The Other People Place, both of which have been reissued recently with Stinson’s Lifestyles Of The Laptop Cafe album having seen a re-release by Warp Records following years of demand for a repress.

The material featured on this new record, which will see release under the name of Jack Peoples, and is entitled Laptop Cafe, never saw release due to Stinson’s death in 2002.
