Underworld Announce Full DRIFT Release

The announcement comes accompanied by a new track and video

Underworld have confirmed full details of a collected release of their DRIFT Series 1 project. Above, you can watch a video for new track ‘S T A R’, the latest track to be unveiled as part of the project.

The first series of DRIFT kicked off in November of last year and sees Underworld create and publish music, as well as film and text pieces, every Thursday for 52 weeks. As part of the project, they’ve collaborated with the likes of The Necks, Melt-Banana, Ø [Phase] and members of Black Country, New Road.

They will collect all of these tracks as well as other parts of the project in a box set which is due out on November 1. The set takes in 7 CDs, a Blu-ray and an 80-page book. It marks Underworld’s first full-length release since 2016’s Barbara, Barbara, We Face A Shining Future.
