Quietus favourites Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats have announced a new single ‘Runaway Girls’, set for release on August 25 via Rise Above – have a listen above. The track, a subconscious-infecting three-minute piece speaking in The Deadbeats’ familiar tongue of cyclical vocal motifs and unison guitar, comes off the back of the band releasing one of our top records of last year, Mind Control, and touring with their own favourite band Black Sabbath. It’ll come backed with an acoustic version of that album’s ‘Devil’s Work’, and precedes their slot at Bestival next month, with the band also playing Jalometalli in Oulu, Finland on August 9 and Pukkelpop in Hasselt, Belgium on August 16.
