Ulver have announced details of a physical release for their 2017 EP Sic Transit Gloria Mundi.
The three-track EP was originally released digitally via Bandcamp in November of last year just before the band set off on their European tour in support of their album The Assassination of Julius Caesar.
The band wrote a statement about the songs on the date of their release last year, saying: "The sad remains from the Caesarean banquet. Two songs we kind of left on the drawing board but resumed work on this summer. Additionally, a cover of a childhood favourite – one we actually started some twelve/thirteen years ago, around the time we first started talking about making some ‘pop’ music. This EP was finalised in our new studio in the old town of Oslo in September, and sent over to Youth’s in London in October, for imperial sound quality."
The vinyl release of Sic Transit Gloria Mundi also includes four live bonus tracks in addition to the EP’s three tracks. It will be available in December but can be pre-ordered here right now.
