Mighty Italian trio Ufomammut are readying their seventh album. Ecate takes inspiration from the titular Greek goddess – fittingly, associated with dark places – and is out on March 30 on Neurosis’ Neurot Recordings. Today they put out the first in a series of pre-release trailers – have a look at that below. Once the record’s out, they’ll be playing sets at both Desertfest in Berlin, on April 23, and London, 25, followed by Maryland’s Death Fest on May 21. Before then, read tQ’s metal doyen Toby Cook talking to the band about their 2012 album ORO: Opus Primum here.
