Sounds From New Twin Peaks Compilation Released

A compilation of sound design work from the recent series of Twin Peaks has been issued via Sacred Bones

Sacred Bones have released a compilation featuring sound sound design work by Dean Hurley from Twin Peaks: The Return.

Hurley has been a collaborator of David Lynch’s for more than a decade with their most prominent collaboration before working together on Twin Peaks coming in the form of 2006 Lynch film Inland Empire.

Entitled Anthology Resource Vol. 1: △△, the album is made up entirely of Hurley’s work, with his sounds forming a vital part of the series’ soundtrack alongside contributions from Hudson Mohawke, Chromatics and more who have also featured in some form in the latest series of Twin Peaks which returned to screens earlier this year.

You can check out a piece from the compilation above, called ‘Eastern European Symphonic Mood No. I’ (which featured on the 13th episode of the latest series), and purchase the record here.
