WATCH: Tweedy – Summer Noon

Second track from Jeff and Spencer Tweedy's debut album Sukierae

Following on from ‘I’ll Sing It’, Tweedy, the senior-junior duo of Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer, have posted their video for ‘Summer Noon’, from upcoming debut album Sukierae. It’s a gently driving track which nods as much to the subtle poppiness of Loose Fur’s debut as to the more direct songs on Wilco’s recent albums. Take a look at Allison House’s video for the track, which is also set to feature on Richard Linklater’s upcoming film Boyhood, above. What’s more, the band will be debuting a new track off the album every Monday for the next eight weeks, all of which you’ll be able to get hold of over at Wilco’s website.

Tweedy recently added a sole London show at the Palladium on November 4, as well as a run of European tour dates, to their current U.S. schedule, following the release of the album on September 22 via dBpm. Head to Wilco’s site for details, and take a look at the album’s artwork below:
