Wigan’s premier bedroom epic rave shoegaze soundtrack creator Joe Oxley, aka TVAM, has just announced his debut album, Psychic Data, due 19 October, and live dates in November and December. Meanwhile he’s released the video for his newest track, ‘These Are Not Your Memories’.
Like any decent video, it features handsome young men, professional hair scrunching and a juddering synth breakdown two-thirds of the way through.
Self-produced and home-recorded, the album was then mixed by our beloved Dean Honer, he of Moonlandingz, The Eccentronic Research Council and International Teachers Of Pop, and you can hear the Honer influence in the supercatchy cosmic sprawl of ‘These Are Not Your Memories’. It’s a beauty.
