Hey Norwegian readers, here’s some good news for you: next time you have to put something in the mail, why not give it a little extra deathpunk oomph by affixing the Royal Norwegian Postal Service’s new Turbonegro stamp.
Have a look above at the stamp, which features the band in rather natty black and white, with frontman Tony Sylvester enjoying the pleasures of a good pipe front and centre.
Says Sylvester: "As a foreigner, it’s an incredible honour to have my image preserved for posterity on a Norwegian postage stamp. I feel like The Queen. Or an endangered butterfly."
This does, of course (as if it ever needed an excuse…), give us an opportunity to air the band’s anthem to facelessness par excellence, ‘Dude Without A Face’ – enjoy below:
