Tresor Celebrate 300th release With Scopex Reissues

For their 300th release, Berlin's Tresor label will reissue the back catalogue of cult '90s electro label Scopex

Tresor, the label run alongside the storied Berlin techno club, have announced details of their 300th release which will see them reissue the back catalogue of cult ’90s electro label Scopex.

A mysterious UK label which operated between 1998 and 2000, they only put out three records before closing. Those releases by producers Pollon and Simulant have gone on to become cult favourites amongst electro heads. Original copies of the records have also grown increasingly hard to come by, fetching sizeable sums on the resale market. One track from the records, Pollon’s ‘Lost Souls’, notably featured in the rarities package for Objekt’s Tresor-released Kern Vol. 3 mix last year.

The records will be reissued in a 4×12" vinyl only package on November 24. The 15 tracks featured on the release have been remastered from their original DAT tapes. You can preview the release above with a stream of Simulant’s ‘Optimal Flow’, a previously unreleased track which was produced in 2000 during the original recording sessions.
