Leipzig’s TransCentury Update Returns For Second Edition

TransCentury Update 2, taking place in Leipzig, will feature sets from Midori Takada, John Maus, Roy Montgomery and more

TransCentury Update is a festival which aims to explore the worlds of both explicit art and music, with the

first edition taking place last year at Leipzig’s 100-year-old UT Connewitz cinema.

Returning once again to that spot for the second edition next month, this year’s festival will see the likes of Thurston Moore Group, Midori Takada and Roy Montgomery all play. Also confirmed on the billing are John Maus, Jane Weaver, Olimpia Splendid, Alex Cameron, Fun Fare and Love Theme.

This year’s edition of the festival will also see the organisers collaborate for the first time with German art collective Wisp, who will be responsible for various art installations across the site. You can find out more about them here.

This year’s festival takes place from November 17-19, and you can purchase tickets, as well as find more information on the event, here. You can also find a video trailer for the festival here.
