On December 6, London’s Corsica Studios will host tQ’s winter party in collaboration with Baba Yaga’s Hut, with the night to be headlined by Sex Swing. Also featuring on the night are Meatraffle, Bruxa Maria and tQ DJs.
Sex Swing are releasing their debut album via tQ’s own label shortly and so they were the perfect choice to headline our end-of-year party. You can listen to some of their previous material here. The band features former Dethscalator vocalist Dan Chandler, Colin Webster of Dead Neanderthals and Tim Cedar of Part Chimp.
In a tQ review, Meatraffle’s debut Hi Fi Classics features an opener ‘… ‘Oppenheimer’, which was described as sounding like King Tubby remixed ‘Winter’ by The Fall” – you know it’s right. Bruxa Maria have also released their excellent noise punk influenced record Human Condition this May and will be joining the other bands here.
Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets are available at a reasonable £7 from Baba Yaga’s Hut.
