The lineup for tQ’s stage at this year’s Desertfest has been announced. Our third curation at the festival will feature JK Flesh, Teeth of the Sea, The Poisoned Glass, Guapo, Bonnacons of Doom and Lower Slaughter, all of whom are set to play at Camden’s The Black Heart on April 29.
As tQ’s Toby Cook wrote of last year’s congregation, “Desertfest outdid itself” with a broadening of booking policy. “Far from watering down the character of the festival, if anything this year’s edition seemed to carry with it an intangible but noticeable strut, a confidence that comes from the knowledge that you’re now – and justifiably – an ‘established’ festival.”
2016 will be Desertfest’s fifth year, and takes place over the Bank Holiday Weekend from April 29 to May 1. Electric Wizard and Corrosion of Conformity headline, while Godflesh, Truckfighters and Crowbar are among the rest of the line-up, with tickets available here right now.
