Last night, the Quietus sat down with a rather ebullient Toy in the Pembury Tavern for a conversation about the making of their debut album and recent escapades – various members of the band were forced to do the "pants down, bend over, torch up" routine by armed police at Heathrow Airport after a fellow passenger on a flight from Europe falsely accused them of misbehaving. You’ll be able to read about the album on the Quietus very soon, but in the meantime we’ve got the video for their single ‘Lose My Way’ to show you. It was recorded up on Hampstead Heath by Joe Morris, and saw the band sneaking gear up to the top of a hill to get a good backdrop of grey London sky, on which Morris scatters addled-noggin colours and tutti-frutti, ghostly impressions of the band members’ faces. ‘Lose My Way’, one of Toy’s finest pop moments, is released on Monday 3rd September 2012, followed by the album a week later.
