After last Wednesday’s brilliant Horrors gig at the Camden Roundhouse, various members of bassist Rhys’ immediate and extended family tried to mug the Quietus. What was the purpose of this attempted Camden skulduggery? Well, our wallet is as bare as an ailing tree in a force niner – what they wanted was the 12" of the debut single by excellent new group Toy, which we had just purchased from the merch stall. Toy were that nights support act, and it must be said that rarely have we seen a group so new fill such an enormous space. The same was true when we had them play on our stage at Field Day.
