Tkay Maidza Details New EP, ‘Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3’

It's her second EP for 4AD after signing with the label last year

Tkay Maidza is releasing a new EP, Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3, next month.

The eight-track EP is the Australian rapper’s second release for 4AD after signing with the label last year to release the second instalment of the Last Year Was Weird EP series. To mark the announcement of the new EP, Maidza has shared a new cut called ‘Cashmere’, which you can watch a video for above.

Earlier this year, Maidza released a cover of Pixies’ ‘Where Is My Mind?’ as part of 4AD’s Bills & Aches & Blues compilation, which saw artists from across the label’s current roster record covers of classic tracks from the archives.

4AD will release Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3 on July 9, 2021.
