WATCH: Tim Burgess Interview

Hear new songs from forthcoming solo LP live at Rough Trade

This week, Tim Burgess announced details of a new solo album Oh No I Love You, an intriguing record made in Nashville, US of A in association with Kurt Wagner from Lambchop. The pair met in Manchester a decade ago, and Kurt agreed to write the lyrics on a record for which Tim would create the music. This was then recorded with a host of Nashville legends. Quietus ed Luke Turner recently went along to Rough Trade East to do a Q&A with Burgess, and we filmed it for posterity. You can watch the film above, and hear Burgess sing new material from Oh No I Love You along with an old Charlatans smash, rendered in acoustic form. Pre-order Tim’s solo album here.
