Tim Burgess is set to release a special remixes edition of his Oh No I Love You album from last year on Record Store Day, tomorrow, 20th April. Entitled Oh No I Love You More, it features remixes from a hugely diverse array of names, ranging from Django Django and Asia Argento to Factory Floor and UK techno maven Perc, each of whom lends a distinctly different edge to proceedings.
In advance of its release, we’re pleased to be able to offer you the first watch of the video for Brian Jonestown Massacre honcho Anton Newcombe’s remix, ‘The Doors Of Then, I Am Yours I Am You’. Watch the video, made by Dan Tombs – a swirling vortex of saturated colours and semi-reconisable shapes – below.
Says Burgess of the album: "Kurt Wagner lends a world-weary timbre to his spoken word version of ‘A Case For Vinyl’. I duet on ‘Hours/Ours’ with Italian actress director Asia Argento. Anton Newcombe, The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s head honcho, transforms ‘The Doors of Then’ into a chant friendly psych stomp. R. Stevie Moore covers ‘The Economy’, while Perc, Factory Floor, The Horrors, Django Django and The Seahawks take the album from its Nashville home to every style, from woozecore to even a hint of dubstep."
