Orbital have collaborated with actress Tilda Swinton on a new song, ‘Deepest’.

The release of the track, which is an updated version of the UK duo’s 1989 song ‘Deeper’, follows on from Swinton making a surprise appearance during their set at last year’s Glastonbury Festival. Her history with them goes back further than that, however, to 1996, when she appeared in the video for their track ‘The Box’.

‘Deepest’ arrives alongside news of a new reissue of 1993’s Orbital 2, which is set for release next month. The updated version will be made available on CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats. It follows last year’s reissue of Orbital’s 1988 self-titled debut LP.

Listen to ‘Deepest’ below.

London Records will release Orbital 2 on May 23, 2025.
