Thurston Moore & Pam Hogg To Host Halloween Night

Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore and fashion designer Pam Hogg will host a special Halloween-themed night in London featuring special guests

Thurston Moore and Pam Hogg are to host a night of Halloween-themed music this Tuesday (October 31) at London’s The Old Church with the event set up as a fundraiser for Manna Society, a London-based organisation which offers a day centre for homeless people.

The night will see the pair inviting a number of special guests to the stage to perform live including Bobby Gillespie, Steve Shelley, Brix Smith-Start and Adi Tal amongst others.

Smith-Start is set to join Moore on stage for a very special cover on the night. In 1990, Sonic Youth released an EP referencing Smith-Start entitled 4 Tunna Brix. It was made up of four songs recorded by the BBC in 1988 for John Peel’s radio show – three of those songs were covers of The Fall.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and The Old Church, which is based in Stoke Newington, will operate a cash only bar on the night. You can find out more information, and get tickets, here.
