A couple of weeks ago, Radiohead took over The Boiler Room, the stay-at-home-clubbing experience that’s rapidly growing into an international enterprise. As well as bringing along Jamie XX, Lone, Caribou and Illum Sphere, the band’s frontman Thom Yorke played a varied set of material (featuring the likes of Blawan, Modeselektor and Ramadanman) that hangs together surprisingly well considering he doesn’t do much in the way of beatmatching.
You can watch his set here, or download it through the podcast section of the Boiler Room’s website. Neither gives any sense of just how punishingly hot it gets in Corsica Studios during BR events though. They might have shifted venues a few times, but the name’s proved to be very appropriate indeed for its current incarnation.
