The xx Announce New London Live Date

Romy Madley-Croft talks about second album, Coexist

The xx will be playing Shepherd’s Bus Empire in London on 10th September, the day before their second album, Coexist gets released. Tickets go on sale to mailing list subscribers this Wednesday, 25th July, and to the general public on Friday.

Also, singer and guitarist Romy Madley Croft has been talking to The Vine about the new LP: “We all got a bit more into house music. That combination of dance music that’s quite sad, but people dance to it. I’ve always loved that contradiction. You can have a room full of people having an amazing time, and then you stop and you’re like ‘That’s really heartbreaking!’ and I think that’s something I got really interested in.” Read the full interview here.

Have a listen to ‘Angels’, the first track to emerge off the new album, below.
