Quietus favourites Incubate have just announced another wave of artists that are set to play the Netherlands-based festival, taking place from September 16-22.
Joining the already-stellar line-up which includes the likes of A Guy Called Gerald, Tim Hecker and East India Youth are indie-rock veterans The Wedding Present.
Having reformed in 2004, though, and now retaining a (relatively) stable line-up, they are playing Incubate as part of their 2013 world tour and the show will be a rare chance to see the group in action.
Along with The Wedding Present, Swedish singer-songwriter Anna von Hausswolff will be on the bill. Having toured with the likes of Lykke Li and M. Ward, von Hausswolff will be bringing her brand of pensive, organ-centric dark pop to The Netherlands – have a read of this week’s Escape Velocity interview with her.
Also joining the line-up is English folk singer Serafina Steer, whose emotive vocals and creative harp playing backed with electronic production as evidenced on this year’s The Moths Are Real, will bring what is bound to be a unique live experience.
Also announced are Balmorhea, Fenster, This Town Needs Guns, Sheep, Dog&Wolf and The Future Dead. Tickets for the festival can be purchased here.
