It seems like London’s hit a mighty motherlode of psych at the moment: following this weekend’s Reverb Conspiracy three-dayer, the Bad Vibrations promoters, along with Lanzarote Events and yours truly, are doubling the day-count for The Trip, a "five date experimental voyage of pysch, noise and rock & roll across a collection of London’s finest independent music venues", taking place at the end of next month.
Have a look at the line-up – which is set to be added to in the coming weeks – above. Catching our eye in particular is the prospect of being subjected to Gnod’s gnarly onslaught, playing a "new electronic set", in the cosy confines of Stoke Newington’s Waiting Room, tQ favourites and Icelandic "monks of the dead temple" Dead Skeletons and a Shacklewell Arms set from The Oscillation, fresh off the back of releasing their third album, From Tomorrow.
Head over to The Trip’s website for full details and tickets and stay tuned for those additions to the line-up; in the meantime, watch the videos for Gnod’s ‘Visions Of Load’ and Dead Skeletons’ ‘Dead Mantra’ below:
