WATCH: New The Sudden Death Of Stars

First look at video from French psych group's forthcoming debut

Ace French psych revivalists The Sudden Death Of Stars are releasing their debut album, Getting Up, Going Down on June 10 via Ample Play. They’re preceding the long-player with a AA-side single, ‘I’ll Be There’/’Free & Easy’, out on June 3, and we’ve got an exclusive first play of ‘I’ll Be There’s video – watch above.

The cut’s a swirl of misty vocals – delivered, much like fellow psych-monger Jacco Gardner, with an impeccable English accent – gliding organ and cello lines, matched to an excellent video, comprising sequential moving/still life shots, which is director Phil Miller’s response to the song’s subject matter, a deceased parent speaking to their child.

You can catch TSDOS making their UK debut at Brighton’s Endless Summer Of Psychedelia all-nighter.
