The Strokes may be the next band to announce a grand 2013 return, as Consequence Of Sound report.
Seattle’s 107.7 The End radio station posted the following message on their Facebook page: "Previewing brand new Strokes "All the Time" thanks to RCA Records. We’ll have to "leak" this soon. You won’t be disappointed… -mike", though there’s been no word from the band themselves.
UPDATE, January 18: Billboard now say they have "confirmed a report that the Strokes’ fifth studio album will be released later this year", with ‘All The Time’ set to be its first single.
Their last album was 2011’s Angles, which we described as "a moribund record, joyless, lazy, lacking in vigour and vim". Fingers crossed we won’t be disappointed then.
