WATCH: New The Soft Moon Video

The Soft Moon shares video for 'It Kills', lifted from his upcoming album for Sacred Bones

Following the recent announcement of his signing to Sacred Bones, Luis Vasquez, better known as The Soft Moon, has shared a video for ‘It Kills’, lifted from his first album with the label, called Criminal. You can watch it exclusively above.

"’It Kills’ represents my constant struggle with making the same mistakes in order to feed my desires," says Vasquez. "A continual battle with the conscience. Some inspiration comes from a quote by William Blake: ‘Those who restrain desire do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained’."

Speaking more widely about the album, Vasquez continues: "Guilt is my biggest demon and has been following me since childhood. Everything I do strengthens the narrative that I am guilty. The concept of Criminal is a desperate attempt to find relief by both confessing to my wrongdoings and by blaming others for their wrongdoings that have affected me."

The album, which is set for release on February 2, can be pre-ordered here. Vasquez will play London’s The Dome on February 16 as part of a European tour running through February and March.
