The Sabres Of Paradise’s first two albums, Sabresonic and Haunted Dancehall, are to be reissued.
Due out in August, the two records have been newly remastered for the updated release, and will be made available in both CD and double-vinyl editions, as well as on digital platforms. The reissue is going ahead with the full collaboration of surviving group members Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns, as well as with the full support of the estate of the late Andrew Weatherall.
In a statement, Kooner said: “We just thought it’s time to go back and revisit this. To let people know that it was a pivotal moment in time, not just for us, but for a lot of other people as well. These are albums that really stand the test of time.”
The reissues come amid The Sabres Of Paradise returning to play their first live shows in three decades, with shows locked in at Primavera Sound and Dekmantel, among other festivals.
Warp Records will release Sabresonic and Haunted Dancehall on August 1, 2025.
